Trimming the Tree
A shake of glittering fairy dust
A dab of Christmas cheer.
The tree is dressed,
It looks it's best,
The time is almost here.
Presents nestle under
The greenly scented bough,
As coloured lights
Fill the nights,
It's really not long now!
Each cookie and each sugar pig,
All sparkling silver strands,
And baubles there
Are placed with care
By magic little hands.

In the pale moonlight

Softly in the snow
Footsteps on the rooftop
He's here! He's here! I know

Chuckling to the stars
His magic sack abrimming
With candy dolls and cars
Hush...The night is silent
And though I didn't see
I know he's been upon our roof
And I have the greatest proof
There's gifts beneath our tree!

Dingly snaps,
Prinkly wraps,
